my best friend's wedding

so my lovely calaigh is getting married to sterling tomorrow

and i am absolutely ecstatic

i cant wait to be there for her on her big day

that pretty much makes up my life right now. except for the fact that ive been sick this weekend. bad weekend to be sicky. i missed the 80s dance party at cajun bobs, quality time with sam, a sleepover with emily and all sorts of other exciting festivities. oh... and i have big news

2) theres a 96% chance that, I WILL NOT BE IN REXBURG IN THE SPRING. yes, tis true. i think im taking a semester off of school to work in utah when i get back from ecuador

i love and appreciate them more now than i ever have i think

even though my family is messed up, these four people are the absolute best

i dont talk to conner much, and we dont have a whole lot in common, but i really love him, and i hope he knows that. i feel like the three of us were a lot closer when we were younger, and he annoyed me more than anything on God's green earth for about three years, but now i can tolerate him, and thats big progress. he's one of the funniest kids i know. and isnt he cute? he got cute while i was at college, and tall!

my sister is my best friend in the whole entire world. im so jealous of her. number one, shes hot. and she just happens to be the funniest person i know. and she's always been good about being nice to my mom. i used to wish i had the kind of relationship they do. i love my sister forever.

im absolutely crazy about my mom. i gave her complete hell through highschool and i feel like i missed out on a good relationship we couldve had. but now i love her more than anything. shes my hero and i hope i can be half of what she is someday.

ps these were taken by jen fields. she's absolutely fantastic. she took my senior pictures also. and me and hadley have both worked for her. shes incredibly talented and really has a gift. checkkk ittt.

three area codes in two days

well, i had the most fabulous labor day weekend. i got to salt lake on saturday at like 215ish and jimmy came and picked me up. we got froyo, went to south towne mall, and watched the byu game at his apartment. i like his mazda 3. possibly more than i like him.

saturday night amalia had to work so i went and hungout with chris leewright (who lives in the same apartment complex as jimmy, only a little bit awkward). we watched pineapple express, possibly one of the funniest movies ive seen.

then i had the most fabulous sunday, maybe even ever.

monday was mya's birthday, which i previously mentioned. and we had roast for lunch. mmm, ive never had roast but it was bomb. alec found a transformers pinata in the trash at walmart so he stuffed better candy in it and taped it all up and we hit that.

then me and caroline went to arby's to try to visit cameron since he's the manager there and i havent seen him in like...15 years? but he was at a meeting so we didnt get to see him :(

monday night made me mad cause all my plans were falling through. so i decided to watch enchanted with lizzy and ben and that made me happy. AND THEN chris texted me and asked if it was too late to go to draper, which made me so very excited. i called schnu to see if i could stay with her for the night and she said yessss!

so me and chris met up with justin (who drove down to provo) and we went to see scott pilgrim vs. the world at some overly priced theater in downtown salt lake with justins friend michael? aaron? i honestly don't remember his name. all i know is that he has tattoos on the back of his legs. but oh man, funniest movie ive seen in a while. i absolutely love michael cera with my whole heart. see?

i stayed at my old young women presidents house in pleasant grove monday night. most fantastic house i've ever seen. and they have sunflowers in their yard! like i guess they just showed up there! isnt that just marvelous?

i'm not even going to address my feelings about being back in rexburg right now. thats for a later date.

sunday is the best day of the week, lately

life is pretty good right now. summer is almost over, and im GLAD. i cant wait to get back to rexburg. i love the first day of school. it is one of my favorite days of the year. ive been packing for the last two or three days. omg, so stressful. i didnt realize how much stuff i have (2 suitcases, 4 boxes, 1 duffel bag, and my backpack). its absolutely ridiculous. but i got my laptop back so i've been able to listen to my music while i pack and clean.

tomorrow is going to be such a great day. im leaving vegas at noon, and i get to salt lake at like 2:25. jimmy is coming to pick me up :))) and then we're hanging out all day. im staying with my cousins all weekend. i like them so much. they are positively my favorite. then tuesday morning me and juelaine are headed to idahooooo, FINALLY. i absolutely cannot wait.

hopefully i get a job at western wats soon. i need money beyond horribly. my first paycheck will be going towards a new camera. plus, posts are really boring when its just big chunks of text. sorry about that.
