so over america

i'm friends on facebook with some of the girls who are in ecuador right now so i can see their pictures of my babies. i don't know why though, every time they post new pictures i sit in my room and cry for like half an hour. it's unreal how much i miss them. every day i wish i could go back and stay forever. i belong there.

perfect, right? they're desperate for volunteers this winter. if i had the time and money, i'd be down there in a heartbeat. real talk though...

and last but not least. everybody in the world knows that i went to ecuador a few months ago, because i just can't stop talking about it. welllllll, i just got an email from the people at osso (the organization i went with) about a "hurdle for hope" race they're doing. gugelman photography and osso are teaming up with dando amor to help the little orphan kids in ecuador. all the proceeds go directly to the orphanages osso works in!

rejection

i have recently learned that rejection is probably the worst kind of hurt






especially when you're rejected by the people who are pretty much programmed to love you

please pray for joplin

i'm sure you guys have at least heard about this by now

but a devastating tornado passed through joplin missouri last night

the death toll was at 116 last i heard and is quickly rising

over 45% of the city is completely demolished

i have friends who live in joplin

thankfully they're all safe and have been reunited with their families

but there are hundreds of people who weren't so lucky

tonight we went to price chopper and my mom spent a couple hundred dollars on groceries and hygiene stuff for the people who are now homeless. i wish i could be down there helping out. but for now, these people could really use some extra thoughts and prayers.

one of our babies went to the ER tonight

micaela has pneumonia and shes only 4 weeks old

we really need her to make it through the night

i'm going to the hospital at 7am tomorrow to work the morning

and i normally don't ask people for their prayers

but i love this little girl

and she needs to live

so if you wouldn't mind

please offer a prayer for baby micaela
