sisterfrannnnn

my family moved two and a half weeks ago ish. my baby sister was pretty upset about it. so my mom, being the fantastic human being she is, let my sister come back to kansas for a week. she's been here since sunday and i just finally got to see her yesterday. we did a whole lot of nothing. which translates into, we sat around and maybe were lame and took pictures? 

and then she left. see you at thanksgiving, whatever. then last night i babysat walker and reese and hadley (little hadley, not my sister, obviously). we ate some pizza, watched some icarly, played in the backyard with the hose, and went to sleeeeep. i was so tired in fact that i almost missed pilates this morning. oops. i'll leave you with my favorite picture of the day. i saw this lovely fellow (who uses that word anymore?) at the post office this morning.

i want to do things

every once in awhile i get in this really... productive, mood. i want to make things happen, i want to take on new things, get new hobbies, meet new people, and just, be better at living i guess. and right now, i'm in one of those moods. 

i want to do things

i want to paint. i want to volunteer again. i want to write in my journal every single day. i want to get better at the piano. i want to go to more concerts. i want to learn to sew. i want to cook. i want to run a half marathon. i want to get back into photography. i want to be in charge of something. i want to make plans, big plans. i want to decorate my new apartment. i want to play a game of assassin. i want to be good.

i'm perfectly capable of making all of these things happen. i'm also perfectly capable of making excuses so they don't. i choose the former. one at a time. here i goooooooo. wish me luck.

meet sophie, she's almost two and sooo blonde. have i tried to speak to her in spanish all day? why yes, yes i have. too bad she doesn't understand what i'm saying like my ecuador babies do.

and this is walker... i got to play with him earlier this week. he's 4 (and a half). he told me he didn't like my hair that day, because it was kind of "wacky." but i still really like him anyways. and he said it'd be fine if i came back to play.

all i really do lately is babysit. but i don't even mind it one bit. right now the kids are in bed and i'm watching say yes to the dress while i work on my talk tomorrow for church. i loooove speaking in church. sorry if that makes me weird. also my friends kat and skyler got married today! so hoooooray for that.

a day of unproductivity

so far today, this is what i have done:

woke up at 930

ate oatmeal

went to the temple to help xanning with a christmas present for her brother who's serving in the dominican republic

skyped with david for approximately 2 hours, ish

ate chicken nuggets

went to broulims with mya

made a cake

and thought about doing homework

i am the most unproductive person on the planet

but that's okay

guess what!
